Yvone Nelson reveals her interest in politics and it seems she is ready to partake in it sooner or later
A move if she carries on will go down in history as the first female to contest for president in Ghana after Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.
The announcement, coming several months after she hinted at her political ambition but ruled out a bid because she believed she had to get her master’s degree first.
The 2020 elections will be held on December 7 and in the race for the presidential election, aside the two major political parties, two persons have hnited at running as independent candidates.
Yvonne Nelson in a series of tweets blamed the slow pace of growth in Ghan to presidents who have ruled the country over the years.
She added that they do not really care about the country and its citizenry, but she have Ghana at heart.
The popular film producer and actress, who is credited with over hundred movies mentioned she wants to develop the country.
