Ghanaian actress Rosemond Alade Brown, better known as Akuapem Poloo has donated assorted items to inmates at the Osamkrom Prison in the Central region.
The items which included bags of rice, water among others were donated in person by Akuapem Poloo and her Poloo Foundation team.
Speaking on why she decided to do this kind gesture, the actress intimated that prisoners also needed to be pampared in order to feel better and have a relaxed mind.
She also appealed to well meaning Ghanaians to join hands and help those in prison.
“I can’t do all alone, join me and lets visit them. They need our help, we can’t just abandon them” she said.
