Stonebwoy won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards.
Stonebwoy said in an interview with Prince Tsegah, Da Don on Hitz FM that
his achievements qualify him as the best Artist In Ghana.
This follows his claims of spending Ghc50,000 on airtime for votes during last year’s VGMAs.
Upon the host asking if he’s the best Artiste in Ghana right about now, Stonebwoy said,
“You don’t expect me to sit down here and tell you that i’m not the best, no way. I am the best Artiste in Ghana in my own perspective (My Profile), my achievements qualify me. My International collaborations, Anloga Junction Album in two weeks has over 12M streams, Billboard plaques and more. I’ve the best my brother”
Talking about his action at VGMA in 2019, Stonebwoy said,
“In 2019, i will say i have learnt a lot rather than regretting even with what happened at the VGMAS was a learning curve for me, no regrets at all”
