Nana Yaa Brefo former multimedia presenter who was the host of Badwam morning show on Adom TV who resigned from the Multimedia Group has been in the news for weeks after her interview with Nana Ama Mcbrown which went viral.
She was interviewed on Neat FM this morning concerning her resignation and other matters involved, she talked about herself and how long she has been with multimedia, she started from Peacefm and she stated that Peacefm is her home, she use to produce shows on Peacefm and did 8 and half years.
In an new interview with Ola Michael on Neat FM, Nana Yaa Brefo says she won’t apologise to Nana Ama Mcbrown because she did nothing wrong with that interview. According to her, on that show, Nana Ama Mcbrown was even the one who called in to her show to attack her.
When asked why she resigned because of her interview with Nana Ama McBrown, she said that wasn’t the reason and that there was nothing wrong with that interview. I didn’t insult her of a sort, why should I apologise to her. There was nothing offensive with the interview because she didn’t go aggressive as she usually does on other matters. She said that those who were attacking her didn’t watch the interview in full, they only watched the ones that were cut version and with that they would termed it as she asked a stupid question.
She didn’t feel offended after the interview because Nana Ama Mcbrown was her friend and she didn’t do anything wrong for her to apologise to her. When asked why she refused to apologise to the people on behalf of Multimedia, she said the attacks was on her personality not Multimedia. If she apologise on what they were attacking her on, it means she has accepted that whatever they were saying to her was true and that making that apology dense her credibility.
She said her resignation wasn’t out of emotions but it was her time to move on and does not have any intention to go back to Multimedia and that people were suggestion Despite Media for her, being a competitive to Multimedia she thinks any one would like to join.
