A tenant and an upcoming musician known as Benjamin Okyere was reported death on the 25th of May, 2020 after his landlord also known as Stephen Nii Kamkam gunned him down for refusing to vacate a house at at M spot near Ofankor after his rent duration was terminated by the landlord.
According to the Police, the deceased was brought the police station and unconsciously around 1:45 PM.
An complainant lamented that, a his landlord shot him multiple times for failing to vacate a room rented out to him, so was rushed to the hospital and was declared death.
The suspect has been charged with Murder case as his been on remand after he appeared in court yesterday.
Meanwhile, the late Benjamin Okyere the deceased parents have finally break silence on their sons demise.
According to her Mother, lately his son told him what he is encountering with his landlord as the landlord told him to vacate him house after spending only two months of the 1years rent duration given to him, as ti why the landlord did that, no one knows yet.
But unfortunately,dream became a reality as the landlord came to see Benjamin on the 25th at his house and demanded for his keys which Benjamin told him to relax he wants to pack his belongings but the Landlord couldn’t have Patience but take the law into his own hands by gunning Benjamin down with multiple shots.
Benjamin’s father who is also a Pastor revealed how he dislikerhe fact that his son is staying in that house because honestly his instincts didn’t feel good whenever he visits his son, so he was even forcing him to leave that house with immediate effect after he broke the dream to him but unfortunately what was meant to was meant to.
