Television show host and newscaster Berla Mundi is currently hot over her recent interview where she discussed rape with a rape victim.
On ‘The Day Show’, Berla Mundi hosted a rape victim known as Mawusi.
Sharing her sad story; she noted that she was raped by a policeman when she was 16 years.
Her family decided to settle the case out of court after accepting an amount between GHC800 and GHC1000 from the rapist.
Mawusi disclosed that she was not medically treated even though she was bruised. The audience who were present at the show burst into laughter amid such a heartbreaking discussion.
Berla Mundi has taken to social media to share the video which has courted the attention of her fellow celebrities.
Sister Derby, Lydia Forson, Efia Odo, Stephanie Benson among others have fired Berla Mundi for being insensitive.
According to them, she could have ceased a moment to address the audience about the seriousness of the matter but she didn’t and allowed them to take such a delicate issue as a joke.
