Ghana can boast of great and talented young artists who makes the future of our music industry a promising one.
We have on several occasions seen children of many big names in the entertainment industry trying to step in the shoes of their parents and some avoiding to take the path of their parents completely.
We have the likes of former signee of Sarkodie’s SarkCess Music, Akwaboah who has his grandfather and father made their names in the music industry.
Another person following in the giant steps of her father is fast rising Ghanaian artiste, Gyakie who happens to be the first daughter of Ghanaian music legend Nana Acheampong.
The young and talent musician who is signed to flipTheMusic has released her first EP titled ‘Seed’ and it’s already making waves as it got 300,000 stream in just a week.
Speaking in an interview on Happy 98.9 FM’s ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ with DJ Adviser, the singer explained the title of her EP as “I have been planted into the music industry and I am growing.” Of which she made it clear that, the music is a seed planted by her father, she now has a choice to either be herself or do what everybody is doing and that is what made her title her EP ‘Seed’.
The ‘Seed’ EP is a five-song EP which has a variety of songs including ‘Intro’, ‘Vacation’ and ‘Outro’.
