Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson known popularly in the entertainment fraternity as Bulldog, manager for dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has stated that he has lost interest in VGMA due to the actions of the organizers of the award scheme which are undermining the brands of artistes in the industry.

According to him, speaking in an interview on Okay FM 101.7 with radio show host Halifax Ansah Addo, he says that VGMA perceives themselves as the overall award scheme heading the music industry so they do what pleases them for which he respects because its their show and he wouldn’t spend his whole time watching and get disappointed again.

Speaking on the matter, he added that the organizers do not make corrections to their mistakes or backslides when their actions are questioned, therefore “they are Incorrigible” he said.

He also spoke against a statement which was made by Madam Theresa Ayoade, the CEO of Charter House who the Organizers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) asking for the industry to rise above Shatta Wale and Reggae Dancehall act Stonebwoy at the the time they were banned following their fracas at last year’s edition of the award scheme.
