The campaigns are getting hotter and hotter as the two parties are leaving no stone unturned to win the December elections. Amidst COVID-19, they are still going about their normal campaign rallies.
The former president and presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama was in the Upper West Region to appeal for their support to recapture power from the ruling president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, and his NPP.
Addressing a rally, the former president told his supporters that, the president is older and has a short time on earth to live. He said if we go by the natural order, it means Nana Akufo Addo will die first before many young Ghanaians.
He further explained that it is wrong for someone who is older to borrow monies for the country and he won’t be alive at the time of the repayment.
