It could be recalled that, after the lifting of band on the boarders, the Ghanaian authorities said that travellers arriving through the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) Accra, will pay US$150 for COVID-19 test as part of measures to control the spread of the Coronavirus in the country.
This didn’t go well with Ghanaians who were stacked overseas during the massive spread of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic as the claim the amount the government of Ghana is taking from them is too much.
However, controversial man of God who is The Founder and leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has added his voice to it after he paid US$900 in less than a week at the Kotoka International Airport.
According The the man of God, he had a program in Sierra Leone and had to go with two of his pastor.
At the Kotoka International Airport, he paid an amount of US$450 for the test before leaving the country and when he got to Sierra Leone, he had to do same.
Coming back home after spending just a week there, he had to go through the same procedure having a test done for himself and his two pastors and did same when they got to Kotoka International Airport and according to him, the KIA and Ghana Health Service is extracting from Ghanaians too much and asked the government of Ghana to do something about it.
