Tears flow as first photos from the final rites for the juvenile footballers hit the net

Four Juveniles Footballers who lost their lives following an accident which occurred at Offinso in the Ashanti region have been laid to rest amidst wailing on Thursday October 1,2020.

Eight (8) Juveniles Footballers were confirmed dead in Saturday, September 19th, 2020 accident which claimed 6 lives of juvenile footballers in River Offin car crash.

The eight football players now deceased were returning from Afrancho after undergoing successful Colts division registration until 8 out of the 36 players met their untimely death.

The incident which occurred on the Kumasi-Tachiman stretch at about 3:30 pm Saturday has also left four persons in critical condition who are currently receiving intensive medical care at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.

The deceaseds are Ofori Amanfo Ramzy, Boakye Samuel Boakye, Antwi Richmond, Arthur Edward, Kwame Poku, Jamil Abdullah,Alex Agyemang,Hubert Anaba.

Four of the deceaseds were buried after the accident due to their condition while the other deceaseds were laid to rest today October 1, 2020 at Offinso Chief Palace grounds.

Family of the deceaseds and Offinso Traditional Leaders performed rituals to pave way for the burial of the the four deceaseds.

They were buried at Roman Catholic Church cemetery at Offinso
