Veteran Ghanaian Gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong the Asomafo band has reportedly been involved in a gory accident which nearly cost the lives of some passengers.
According to close sources, the accident happened at Dwaso Junction on the Kumasi stretch some hours ago leaving Ghanaians in a state of shock as they wish the veteran speedy recovery.
The residence said the accident happened after a speeding articulator truck trying to overtake another vehicle took over their lane and in attempt to avoid a head-on collision, the car which the gospel star was driving in, got hit by a different vehicle as it somersaulted of the road as it landed in a ditch.
Meanwhile, Yaw Sarpong’s Manager popularly known as Ashes has break silence over the accident.
According to him speaking via phone call to Kofi Adoma Nwanwani on Angel FM 6PM news, he is on his way to see the victims but Yaw Sarpong and his backing vocalist known as, Maame Tiwaa as reported earlier are receiving treatment at Dwaso Hospital have been now transferred to the Okomfo Anokye teaching hospital for treatment.
Ashes speaking, he revealed that, he hasn’t heard about anything serious concerning the accident because he is on his way to see the rushed victims at the Okomfo Anokye teaching hospital so Ghanaians should debunk any delusional news concerning the accident.
