The former president of the Republic of Ghana and flag bearer for the direct opposition party, National Democratic Congress(NDC), John Dramani Mahama last week visited the mother of the late and former Vice President Of The Republic, Amissah-Arthur, Madam Effie Amissah-Arthur in Cape Coast to greet and receive her blessings ahead of the December 7 election.
John Mahama during his campaign tour in the Oguaa Traditional in Cape Coast last week used the opportunity to visit the mother of his running mate during the 2012 general elections, Amissah-Arthur who passed on some few years ago after a gym session.
According to the flag bearer of the NDC in a Facebook post sighted, He revealed that he visited the mother of the late Amissah-Arthur to greet her and receive her blessings ahead of the general elections which is scheduled for December 7th.
Posting a number of photos together with Madam Effie Amissah-Arthur, John Mahama wrote; “With Madam Effie Amissah-Arthur in Cape Coast last week, as I have always done, to greet her and also receive her blessings ahead of the December 7 election. Madam Effie is the mother of our late former VP, Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur. #JohnMahama2020 #AllGhanaiansMatter #NDCmanifesto”
