Following heavy criticism from people about the Ghanaian president Akufo-Addo’s silence on the ongoing #EndSars protest and killings in Nigeria, he has come out to comment on the issue saying, he have spoken with President Buhari, who is committed to end the #EndSARS impasse’.
Taking to Twitter and Facebook, he wrote: “I join all well-meaning persons in calling for calm, and the use of dialogue in resolving the #EndSARS impasse in Nigeria. I have spoken with President Buhari, who is committed to this end, and has begun the processes that will lead to reform.”
“Violence, be it on the part of the Police or protesters, cannot be the solution. To the families who have lost their loved ones, I express my sincere condolences, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery. #EndSARS”
Reaction from all angles have come after the president tweeted about the killings in Nigeria.
Also, the ‘disloyal’ member of the NPP who claim he is fighting for a better Ghana, Kwame A Plus has react to the president’s tweet.
According to him, It’s the president’s job to be a president and the citizens job is also put pressure on him to do the right thing as he thank him for doing the needful.
