Glorifying illiteracy, Akrobeto Is Destroying The Intellectual Fibre Of The Nation – Social Media User Laments

Popular Kumasi-based actor and comedian cum TV presenter, Akwasi Boadi popularly known as Akrobeto a few day back went international following his hilarious way of reading news on his ‘Real News Show’ on United Television(UTV). 

Apparently, Akrobeto happens to catch the attention of many including Chelsea’s captain Cesar Azpilicueta and the international community in general after a video of him mispronouncing his name and names of some football clubs on his Real News program. 

However, on his popular show on UTV, Spanish journalists who absolutely love his style of presentation and featured him on his sport show requested to be interviewed on his Real News show and many Ghanaians are proud of him for putting Ghana on the map.

In as much as many Ghanaians are happy for Akrobeto, a Social Media User Identified as Phanuel Ayawli following his Facebook name is not happy about the whole thing as he laments that, Ghanaian are glorifying Illiteracy in the name of comedy.

According to him, Akrobeto hilarious way Of pronouncing words which has gone international is not a good news since it is destroying the intellectual fibre of the Nation.

He made this known to the public by commenting under the post of ZionFelix on Facebook. He wrote “Glorifying illiteracy in the name of comedy; destroying the intellectual fibre of the nation in order to benefit from it.”
