Special voting begins today across 275 centers
A center has been mounted in each of the 275 constituencies of Ghana for the Special Voting exercise ongoing across the country.
Election officials, security personnel as well as media personnel are voting today, Tuesday, December 1 in order to free them up for official duties on election day, Monday, December 7.
A total of 109,557 persons are expected to vote in the exercise.
However a number of videos and photos of these individuals casting their vote hit the Internet and it’s a disturbing one. Like Was is right to record or take photos of themselves casting their votes?
Following a comment made by The National Communications Director of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi that supposes that security officers will lose their jobs if President Nana Addo is voted out of power, it appears that it’s doing more harm to the NDC than good.
Itcould be recalled that, In a press conference held at the NDC Headquarters yesterday, Sammy Gyamfi indicated that security officials who he accused were in bed with the President will be mercilessly dealt with when the NDC comes into power.
“The police officers and the military officers are making their career conterminous with that of President Akufo-Addo. The day President Akufo-Addo exits office will be the last day they will serve as policemen and military men and we will deal with them mercilessly”.
Following the comment made by Sammy Gyamfi sometime back, A military officer has stood on his comment to vote agains John Mahama when casting his vote.
The Military officer recorded a video of himself voting against John Dramani Mahama as he explained in the video that the leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not become a victor of this general elections.
