No doubt about the fact that sharing of money and cars, hasty erection of infrastructure and construction of roads a few weeks to elections is one of the common characteristics of Ghanaians politician including His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo as he has for some time now cutting sword even though the elections had drawn closer.
Likewise the member of parliament of various constituencies. Road construction and other developmental projects are been put under construction few days or weeks to elections to solicits vote.
Following their ways of soliciting votes, the member of Parliament for Awutu- Senya East Constituency In the Central Region, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson decided to construct gutters in her constituency.
However, a labourer at the site working on the NPP project got the worse day of his life as he received a dirty slap from the member of Parliament for mistakenly waving the flag of the direct opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC) whiles working on the NPP project.
Explaining how it all happened, the labourer Who was working on the NPP project stated that, during the day, supporters of the opposition NDC organized a jogging and while they were passing by one mistakenly dropped his flag on the road and he took it.
Few minutes later, a black private car arrived at the site and saw him with the flag. The unidentified person according to the victim approached him and asked why he was holding and NDC flag whiles working on an NPP project and also asked that the foreman on the site should sack him from the site.
He then packed his things and decided to leave as they wanted but the foreman called him to come for his money. Four black 48 cars and a white car also arrived at the site and approached him again and started giving him some dirty slaps and beatings of which he said Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson was part of them.
