No doubt about the fact that this year’s presidential and parliamentary elections which is scheduled for Monday, December 7th will be a tough one following how the two main political parties in Ghana are campaigning hard to solicit votes.
Even though Ghana has a multi-party system, there are two dominant political parties (the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party), which to extreme make it difficulty for anyone to achieve electoral success under the banner of any other party making every general election held in Ghana from the beginning of the fourth Republic of Ghana be between them likewise this year’s.
However, it hard to determine the winner of this year’s elections even though popular men of God whose prophecies have manifest have prophesied about the elections.
Following street quiz on who the next government of Ghana will be, it appears that the ruling New Patriotic Party’s Free Senior High School policy is doing the magic for them since everyone is in support of it vowing to vote the Nana Addo to power come December 7th.
In a street quiz on the election in Nsawam Market, the capital of the Akuapim South Municipal District, almost everyone given the opportunity to speak hailed the Nana Addo Government following the free SHS, electricity and water he gave Ghanaians when he came to power.
According to them, both political parties should stop the last minute campaigning because they have already made up their minds to give the Nana Addo led government a second term to continue the free SHS policy even though the NDC has said they will improve the quality by if the free SHS when they come to power.
Having said that, over 800,000 Menzgold victims in the Ashanti Region few days back held a meeting vowing to vote against the NPP government since it has not made an attempt to take their monies from the Menzgold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM 1.
