Celestine Donkor popularly known with the stage name as Gospel Soldier is the proud daughter of Elder Gabriel Akakpo and Mrs. Hanna Akakpo, Celestine schooled at St Augustine’s Preparatory/JS School in Abeka Lapaz after which she enrolled at Nsaaniya Secondary Business School at Kasoa for her senior secondary certificate.
It took the generous nature of the boxing legend and African’s only Hall of famer Azumah Nelson and the International Solid foundation Ministry to see her through her secondary education as the family in serious financial crisis.
Celestine Donkor is one Gospel musician who has been gracefully blessed after so much suffering in her past life due to her poor background. She has really suffered in life and have a lot of sad ordeals to share to the public.
Many prominent and famous people we know today never had it easy to get to the top but through determination and perseverance, they saw the limelight.
Celestine Donkor showed up on an interview to elaborate and revelation her horrific experience she faced when she was going through a serious hardship after completing senior high school.
According to the Gospel soldier, she used to go through serious starving because she had no capital to feed herself and can even go on three consecutive days without eating. So one day, she went to a certain woman in her neighbourhood to ask for food because she had no option and was really dying out of anger.
The alleged woman who she begged her for food told her to eat her baby’s feases for her to feed her as an option.
Speaking, she shocking revealed that, she ate the feases as the woman urged her in order to satisfy her prolong hunger.
She unfolded this as she was reminiscing about some past experience and hardship she went through before getting to the limelight.
Celestine is happily married to Mr. Emmanuel Donkor an import and exporter and they have two beautiful girls, Ohemaa and Maa Adwoa.
