The 2020 Election has come to an end but there are still controversies circulating around the declared results after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) claimed that both the Presidential and Parliamentary Polls was rigged and had accused Madam Jean Mensah for allegedly rigging the Election due to how the EC made some corrections after the first declaration.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama has not conceded defeat. The National Democratic Congress as whole have petitioned for a re- election (runoff) in Court after they reiterated upon their decision of not conceding defeat because the Election was rigged.
The National Democratic Congress have Protested against the Electoral Commission of Ghana across all regions on a numerous occasions. The National Democratic Congress protested against the EC for weeks and has finally settled on sending the case to court.
However, the Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) known as Maame Yaa Aboagye has elaborated his dissatisfaction and disappointment in the Flag Bearer of the leading opposition Party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for risking the lives of the Party supporters to Protest which even went futile.
According to Yaa Aboagye, the National Democratic Congress manipulated their party supporters to flounced the streets and protest while they actually knew that they lost the election to the core.
Mame Yaa also admitted that she was marveled why the Presidential candidate for NDC, John Dramani Mahama embraced to be crowned as the President- elect whiles he knows that he lost the Election ” hands down. ”
Maame Yeboah Asiedu reveal how disappointed she is for John Dramani after he claimed victory for himself knowing clearly well that you lost the Election but with his desperation for Power, he chose to do things in his favor which is very unpleasant and unfair. She added
