Reports circulating online has it that the clouted Ghanaian Reggae artist and radio character famously known as Blakk Rasta was nearly assaulted by an anonymous man who was in masked .
According to Blakk Rasta, the furious man constrained his way into the studios while taking steps to hurt him. The FM station has consequently been closed down and security presence has been improved at the station’s premises with Police Officers.
As at now, nobody knows why the man tried to assault the Blakk Rasta.
A report gave on Wednesday, 6 January 2021 by the Management of Zylofon Media, of which Zylofon FM stated that “The premises of Zylofon Media was attacked by an a masked man subsequent to breaking security conventions at about 4:00 pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
“This man went to the station’s server room, succeeding in disconnecting some of our cables, therefore, shutting down transmission before threatening the life of the host of the Taxi Driver Show, Blakk Rasta, known in private life as Abubakar Ahmed,” the statement read.
It continued: “It was unclear what the real motive of this assailant was but he engaged security details at the premises in a scuffle and sprayed a strange content into their eyes while baying for the blood of Blakk Rasta as he struggled to break into the studio during the live transmission of the Black Pot segment on the Taxi Driver Show”.
Blakk Rasta tweeted; “Transmission on @zylofon1021fm shut down. A man broke into the building, masked threatening to kill me. Police and security here”
However, Blakk Rasta is known for his interference sometimes into the political grounds despite being an entertainer as he has been tagged as a National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporter due to how his perception obviously shows the party he belong without no doubt.
