General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress has made chilling disclosures about the leader of the New Patriotic Party in parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu’s past life which has made it hard for him to be considered for Ministerial appointment since President Kufuor’s time.
As indicated by him, he was in parliament with Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu when issues circulated how he changed his name from Lawrence Addae to Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu came up, uncovering that the Suame MP knows “we know it all” henceforth he agrees to parliamentary leadership where there is no vetting.
Asiedu Nketia said this past life of Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu is the reason he has consistently remained in parliamentary authority of his gathering without campaigning for a ministerial appointment which will expect him to be freely reviewed and where issues could be utilized against him.

A letter of suspension from St. Peters Secondary School (a school he is said to have gone to during the 1970s) for purportedly breaking into the school’s stores among others.
A letter was kept in touch with his dad, one Mr. J.K Addae, by the Assistant Headmaster, illuminating him regarding his ward’s exercises in the school. The suspension letter asked the cooperation of his parents for the suspension over their child’s misconduct.
The reports said his unique name was really Lawrence Addae before the supposed occurrence which procured him disrespect in his adolescent years until he chose to get his past behind, transform a decent lead and acquired entrance into the then University Of Science and Technology (presently known as the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology KNUST) for a Bachelor’s certificate in Designing.
