John Mahama has arrived in the Supreme Court to argue his case against the EC and the NPP with regard to the 2020 elections.
The Supreme Court will this morning hear a motion from National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama, seeking to amend some errors in his petition challenging the outcome of the 2020 general elections.
The motion argues that an error was made in the description and positioning of the parties to be served the writ.
It also pointed out that there was a typographical error with one of the reliefs in the writ.
Sources say, leading members of the NDC are also present in court.
They include; Prof Jane Opoku Agyeman, the former chief of staff, Mr Julius Debrah, Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Deputy Gen Secretary, and Peter Otukonor.
The chairperson of the EC, Jean Mensah has also arrived. The President’s lawyer, Akoto Ampaw is also there.
In a motion on notice filed yesterday, lawyers for Mr Mahama requested a live broadcast of the court proceedings.
