Kyei Mensah Bonsu replies Asiedu Nketiah after accusing him of being a notorious thief in SHS

NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame Constituency, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has described how President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo urged him to stay in parliament and proceed with his parliamentary obligations.

He said he had that conversation with the President before the December 7 general election.

“I have been in parliament for over 24 years and out of 20 years, I have been i leader of the NPP in Parliament which for me was sufficient support of my nation and I wanted to explore new challenges” he said.

Talking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ program, he clarified that the President having seen the results of the 2020 general Election and its unfolding events spoke to him to stay in Parliament and keep on delivering his support of the nation and furthermore help stabilize his administration.

“For me, that recognition alone to know that what I do in parliament does stabilize government is enough for me. And don’t forget that money is not everything in life as we are not in government to enrich ourselves,” he added.

He reiterated that he takes pride in his significant assistance and commitment to the nation and what he has had the option to assist parliament with accomplishing.

This is when the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress made awkward disclosures about Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu’s past life which has made it hard for him to be considered for Ministerial appointment since President Kufuor’s time.

As indicated by him, he was in parliament with Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu when issues circulated how he changed his name from Lawrence Addae to Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu came up, uncovering that the Suame MP knows “we know it all” henceforth he agrees to parliamentary leadership where there is no vetting. And this is as a result of his bad records way back in St Peters Senior High School as a notorious thief.
