Mr. Franklin Cudjoe, the leader of IMANI Center for Policy and Education has revealed that Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who is the current Minister of information would be demoted to a Deputy Minister.
The IMANI boss says the second term of the Akufo Addo’s government needs more competent ministers, and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah’s demotion would land an amazing blow to the efficience of his government.
He made these disclosure and indication whiles talking on the TV3’s Key Points program this Saturday, January 16, 2020.
There Mr. Franklin Cudjeo uncovered he has been informed that Kojo Oppong Nkrumah may be made to be a Deputy Minister to Ursula Owusu in the Communications Ministry.
According to him, such a position will be a demotion to the performance of Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah at the information ministry.
“I would like to see Kojo Oppong Nkrumah leading a Ministry. He performed very well in the information Ministry he led”
Even at that, he is being asked to be a Deputy Minister to a Ministry that had question marks on its performance. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah deserves more than that”. Mr. Franklin Cudjoe noted.
I have heard he is being made to be a Deputy Minister to the communication Ministry. It is not appropriate to do so to a young man who performed very well.
Responding to other rumors recommending that Mr. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is going to bf made to be the official spokesperson to the President, Mr. Franklin Cudjoe actually argued that would still be a demotion for Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
“He cannot also be the official spokesperson to the President because Eugene Arhin is already doing that even though he only writes speeches.
But that is even a much more a serious demotion. I don’t think I would be happy to see Kojo Oppong Nkrumah doing not just that.
