Chief Dan Nkoloagu is a Nigerian veteran actor, film maker and a radio broadcaster with Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria. He was born on the 12th of October 1937. He is a native of Ebe in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu state.He is popularly known among numerous Nollywood actors for his movie roles as a native doctor or a member of the traditional ruler’s cabinet.
He starred in Nollywood movies like Okada man, Warriors heart, My vision, Midwife, Royal doom, Alice my first lady, Moment of tears, 40 days and 40 nights.
His death was declared by his son; Dan Nkoloagu Jr on his Facebook account. He passed on in the hospital after failing to treatment for an unfolded sickness. He is survived by his wife and Children and many other family relatives.
Dan Nkoloagu will forever be remembered as one of the greatest movie actors in Nigeria and also the unprecedented legacy he left behind in the movie industry.
He is known as one of the pioneers who started the Nollywood Industry in Nigeria together with some great acts such as; Patience Ozukor, Olu Jacobs and many others.
Dan Nkoloagu took a break the acting for over 5-years but actually it wasn’t certain on why he has stopped acting but news went rounds that he has been bedridden which was deemed as a rumuor until his demise was annouced by his son.
Mr Daniel death has putting Nollywood lovers and admirer into a total state of shock with how sudden it was.
