Ghana’s first COVID-19 Vaccines have arrived at the Kotoka International Airport today, February 24, 2020 around 7:00am and Ghanaians have reacts to it massively on the grounds that the Nana Addo government is really doing well to help reduce the massive spread of the virus following how it’s taking lives of innocent people.
Kwasi Pratt, Ghanaian journalist and managing editor at the Insight newspaper have also react to it and according to him, the government have taking a bold step in fighting the virus and we all have to take risk in responsibility to help fight it effectively.
According to Kwesi Pratt, it he’s given the opportunity, he will gladly take the vaccine and not on the grounds that, it risk free but rather on the grounds that, fighting the pandemic is about taking risk.
He added that if we don’t take risk, we can’t go ahead of the pandemic as he indicated that, the vaccine which have arrived in the county Present an opportunity for us to take risk in fighting the pandemic.
”.. well, I mean if I get Thebes opportunity, I will take the vaccine not because it’s risk free but before I believe that in fighting the pandemic, we all have I take a risk.
If we all don’t take risk we can’t get ahead of the pandemic and the vaccine present an opportunity to take risk which may in the end prove to be efficacious.
