Popular Ghanaian Actor cum fashionista, Toosweet Annan has disclosed that his first salary as an actor was 400cedis (equivalent to 70 dollars today).
On the Mcbrown’s Kitchen show, the handsome actor reveals that he has since been daddy’s boy with hard labour.
He further adds that, after taking 400cedis from one producer, Serebour, he continued shooting on numerous sets and locations for 5 years without salary.
“I was first casted in a movie titled ‘Supremo’ in 2010. Afterward I was paid 400cedis. I was happy to have been featured in several movies afterward even though I was not paid but I was grateful for the platform” he said
However, he says Nollywood Industry does not pay much as said by fellow actors only that work comes consistently unlike Ghanaian Movie Industry.
