So a day won’t go by without news of someone being killed in a Car accident or being burnt to death or being killed by someone? It obvious people are dying in this year, 2021 than previous years as just in the first three months news of death keep hitting us.
News reaching me this evening is soo pathetic that, a friend has heartlessly killed in Own friends over palm wine.
According to report, the said incident happened in Alavanyo, a town in the Volta Region of Ghana and the suspect as we speak is in police custody for the act.
Per my source, the suspect whose name was given as Koshovi, a 52 years old man and a farmer visited the deceased who was also given as Norbert who is a palm wine tapper to beg for palm wine but he refused.
Norbert according to report refused on the grounds that, the palm wine is his source of income and can’t risk giving it out for free but if Kodjovi is ready to pay for it, he will gladly give him.
This got Kodjovi who went to beg pissed as they exchanged words in the farm of which he pulled out his hunter’s gun, fired his friend in the back leading to his sudden death and run. People nearby who heard the gunshot rash to the place, caught him while in a run and beat the hell out of him and later sent him to Kpando police station.
