Good news hitting Ghanaians this morning is from the Ministry Of health, Ghana as they announced that, the government of Ghana has received 350,000 vaccines.
The 350,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccines which is under the Covax facility were received this morning from DR Congo through Istanbul on a Turkish Airline according the the ministry of health, Ghana.
The said doses are to help kick start the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination programme which stared March, 2021.
In as much we have finally received the vaccines this morning, it appears that we should have receive this early to help in the second phase of the vaccination programme as those who took their first shots needed to take it some few days back.
This was however made known as A Plus lamented that he needed to take his second shot some few days back but went to the hospital for him to be told the vaccines are not on for the second shots.
Having said that, sharing the good news to Ghanaians, the Ministry Of Health, Ghana shared photos of the arrival of the doses and captioned it;

The government of Ghana this morning received 350,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccines to kick-start the second phase of the Covid-19 vaccination programme.
The consignment, which is under the Covax facility, arrived from DR Congo through Istanbul on a Turkish Airline.”
