Still on the issues of fixing the country some angry youth on social media pushed few days back. On May 3rd, 2021, angry youth took to social media to push an agenda concerning hardship in the county with an hashtag #FixTheCoutry.
This got a lot of attention on all social media platforms as may Ghanaians including some top celebrities with the likes of A Plus, Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo and other as they all joined the agenda to draw the attention of the government of Ghan to fix the country.
Disturbing videos and photos of how some persons in some part of the county are suffering have popped up as a result of the agenda being pushed. As part of the agenda, a protest was scheduled to have happened two days ago but due to the intervention of the Ghana Police, conveners of the FixTheCountry were restrained from embarking on the protesting.
This however did stop them from embarking on their protest as they did it virtually with photos of them with their protest sign hitting online.
Well, controversial actress and social media is influencer, Efia Odo Who is one of the few celebs who isn’t keeping calm on the said issue have once again hit hard on the government and this time around it about the massive increase in price of item.
According to her, everything in increasing massively under this current government but the only thing not increasing is wages of individuals as she lamented on the massive increase in the price of a bag of cement.
She touched on the fact that, Cement which was sold for 32 cedis initially has been increased by 18 cedis and 22 cedis as it price now is 50 and 54 cedis depending on where you buy them as she called on the government to fix the country.
