Levite Fletcher Narh, a Ghanaian Gospel artiste resident in the United States of America has accused Joe Mettle of song theft.
Narh claimed during an interview on Neat FM that Joe Mettle released the cover of Meyi W’aye originally written and composed by him without his authorisation. He added that Mettle initially reached out to him but the discussions weren’t concluded before the release of the song.
Narh stated that the song was written in 2006, and published in 2007.
“This song is about 15 years old. I’m the only one that understands the history behind the song, and how God gave me the song but you know how they do in Ghana. People don’t do the right thing,” said Narh during the interview.
